Library Goals

To enable the handicapped and elderly community members to the same services as everyone else at our library.
To serve the identified needs of the people of the community.
To increase the visibility, awareness, and the importance of the library in the community.
To emphasize the importance of reading as a life-long habit.
To coordinate programs and activities with other libraries, the MMCRU school district, Cherokee County, and/or Iowa Library Services.
To work toward continued accreditation according to the State Library of Iowa standards and guidelines.
